Malcolm Scott – Open Bridges partner and founder member of Humber Film
Malcolm Scott is a founder member of Humber Film. He was a chartered surveyor and, after public sector property experience in Hull, set up Scotts Property in 1990. He retired from the practice in 2012 to become more involved in other projects. A former president of the regional Chamber of Commerce, Malcolm has recently supported the Fruit Trade Music recording studio in Humber Street and has created Kardomah94 in Hull city centre, a café/bar and intimate theatre to encourage growth in wide-ranging regional cultural activity. He is a board member of the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), a member of the community interest company For Entrepreneurs Only and a founder director of community radio station, Hull Kingston Radio.

As a composer his pieces range from large scale orchestral works to electro-acoustic soundscapes.; as a methodical but flexible director, his output spans period dramas to mockumentaries. Sarah Hicks – Actor, Production Manager and Voice-over artist
Alex Davies – Alex is an experienced film maker and motion graphics designer, with a great interest in carefully crafted media. For the last 5 years he has been providing advertising and learning materials for dozens of clients, ranging from local businesses and charities to international companies and government bodies.
Paul Leeson Taylor – A commercial photographer and film-maker whose clients over the last 25 years have included household name businesses has added a new dimension to his career as an award winning Director as becoming Director of Photography at Mindmap Productions a creative commercial film company.
Darren Edwards – Darren relocated to Hull to study a media technology BSc (Hons) in 2003. Graduating with a first, he went on to co-found the RTS award-winning BBCi channel, Spark TV, and also the boutique production company X-GF Media, responsible for filming/editing commissioned pilots such as Show Me the Golf (Setanta Sports). In 2008 he co-founded rugby Super League’s first in house multi platform project hullfclive.tv From 2011 onwards, his focus has been developing/producing factual entertainment TV pilots.
Brendan and Adam Storch – In 2015, Adam and his brother Brendan decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and launched INITCreative. Since the first day of trading, they have worked tirelessly to provide clients with an affordable yet top quality service that is highly personalised and stripped bare of the often infuriating ‘business jargon’ that can waste time and money. This refreshing down to earth approach has won over clients such as Hull City, MKM Building Supplies, Hudgell Solicitors, Hull UK City of Culture 2017 plus many exciting fledgling organisations and traders.

Neal Coulman – Neil is a well established film/media/theatre Producer/Director making high quality Drama and Documentary films for both commercial and non-commercial clients. His career began in the music industry back in the 1980s before moving into film and theatre production. Currently specialising in documentary film making and mixed media live theatre/video performance work. BA Lens Based Art and Media (1st class Hons.) PGCE(level 7)
Julian Woodford – Julian has more than 30 years’ experience as a writer, including as a filmmaker, playwright, poet and journalist, and as an editor and media specialist.

The culmination of Open Bridges is the world premiere live performance of BAFTA award winning composer John Stead’s especially commissioned acousmatic music composition at Hull Stage@The Dock.
Open Bridges is an independent Hull based project in partnership with HCC Streetscene Services taking place during the City of Culture Freedom Season.
